Starcraft II

StarCraft II a military science fiction real-time strategy video games currently under development by Blizzard Entertainment. It features the return of the three races from the original game—Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. StarCraft II is also designed to focus more heavily on the multiplayer aspect, when compared to the original StarCraft. The Terran campaign replaced the original StarCraft briefing room with an interactive version of the battlecruiser Hyperion, with Jim Raynor, now a bitter and hard-drinking mercenary captain, as the central character. In a departure from previous Blizzard games, the campaign is non-linear, with Raynor taking jobs for money and using that money to buy additional units and upgrades. Although each play through will vary, the end result will remain consistent keeping the storyline linear. The Terran campaign, Wings of Liberty, will place players in a mercenary style campaign, as Terran rebel Jim Raynor performs missions for cash. The second release, the Zerg campaign Heart of the Swarm, will have RPG elements. The player will level up the Queen of Blades, Kerrigan, throughout the missions. The last expansion, the Protoss campaign Legacy of the Void, the dark templar Zeratul will have to employ diplomacy between Protoss tribes to acquire units and technologies for each mission. Each campaign should span 26-30 missions. StarCraft II features approximately the same number of units as the original game. Some units from the original game are returning, some featuring new upgrades and abilities. Units in Starcraft II have new abilities, compared to the original, that encourage more complex interaction with the game environment. Among these are the inclusions of units that can traverse varying levels of terrain, or have the ability to teleport short distances. Some Protoss units can be warped in to pylon-powered areas using a new building, the Warp Gate. StarCraft II is being developed for concurrent release on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X. According to Blizzard Entertainment, predicts the Starcraft II game will be released at the end of 2009, although a specific release date has not yet been given.

Spider Man 4

Another Marvel Comics superhero will be released on the big screen soon. For all Spidey fanatics, Spider Man 4 are on its way and maybe it’s a worth waiting for. Well, the recent announcement of its release date claims May to be an interesting month in 2011 and it is not building castles in the air. On the contrary, it is now a more tangible reality. There are questions piling up on which shall be the new villain in the Peter Parker new adventure story.

I'll Be Waiting for You Movie: Aljur Abrenica & Kris Bernal

After the overwhelming success of their team up in GMA's afternoon drama series "Gilda Olvidado's Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?" and currently receiving good feedback in their latest early primetime soap "All My Life", now their chemistry will hit the big screen. Aljur Abrenica team up with Kris Bernal in their first new movie "I'll be Waiting for You" produced by GMA Films and Regal Entertainment. The movie will shoot in Panglao Tagbilaran Bohol. Aljur will portray the role of Tata, a simple farmer while Kris play as Stef marrying Baron Geisler, half brother of Aljur. Other cast will include Baron Geisler, Ana Capri, Lloyd Samartino, Valeen Montenegro and Anton Bernardo. It is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes. The movie will launch after the OH My Girl movie. I'll Be Waiting For You will be showing this July 29.

An upcoming Sci-Fi movie: District 9

Peter Jackson will team up with Neill Blomkamp on the sci-fi movie, District 9. An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology. The aliens are called the 'Non-Humans' and are forced to work the Multi National United Company (MNU for short). A kind of apartheid discriminating the non-humans has been enforced. Throughout the film, the Non-Humans will try to free themselves from MNU's grasp. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9. It is scheduled for a release on August 14, 2009.

GMA 7 Talent Marian Rivera as Darna

GMA 7 and Mars Ravelo comic superhero masterpiece will going to remake the upcoming television show Darna. Darna is a Filipino version of wonder woman of the U.S. Marian Rivera is the new Darna in the new television show of GMA 7 this coming August 2009. The last celebrity who took the rule of Darna is Angel Locsin. Marian Rivera has been selected by Wilma Galvante GMA's SVP for Entertainment TV to take the lead rule in Darna. Marian is very happy and having fun on her new rule and she was very excited to portrait the comic book superhero. She was also very sexy and hot on her costume. I know the majority of viewers for these episodes are mostly males. Marian Rivera with the Darna cast is now so busy taping the series for the upcoming opening next month. Marian Rivera as Darna will fly on your TV screen this August 2009.

Michael Jackson’s Two Best-Selling Album Hits Billboards Charts

Michael Jackson has two of the five best-selling albums in the U.S. in the aftermath of Jackson's death. Number Ones albums sold 339,000 copies and would have held at #1 on The Billboard 200 if catalog albums were eligible to compete on that chart. Meanwhile The Essential Michael Jackson album sold 125,000 copies and would have dropped from #2 to #5. The Billboard excludes catalog albums from the big chart on the theory that new albums need the spotlight the chart provides more than past hits do. Jackson's catalog of solo albums sold 800,000 copies this week, up from 422,000 copies last week. This was the first full week following Jackson's death on June 25. Billboard reports that 82% of the Jackson albums sold this week were CDs. Last week, 43% of the Michael Jackson albums sold were CDs. I think this shows that on a special album, people want the CD as a souvenir from the King of Pop. Sad to see it takes his death for his albums to be in the top 5. But he will always be number 1 to the Millions of fans who love him.

Katrina Halili is one of the celebrities that are involved of Hayden Kho’s Sex Scandal video. Other showbiz celebrity who also part in the Sex scandal is Maricar Reyes and an alleged Brazilian model. Katrina Halili really wants to forget about the scandalous event that happens to her life. She really wants to move on, forget and do something about her life and her career. She is still beautiful, hot, and sexy when I saw in one of her interview. It seems that there’s nothing happen. I don’t blame them anything they’ve done, both of them victim of love and they’re love a wrong person (Hayden). I think their doing their best to struggle against the shame and negative publicity they’re currently under going. Both Katrina and Maricar does still remain strong despite of everything. Their family is given them a full support and prayers. A lot of people are really saying a lot of things about them specially those people who don’t understand what really happen. They’re only a victim of sex exploitation because of this Hayden Kho Katrina Halili sex video scandal and Hayden Kho Maricar Reyes sex video scandal.

The Surrogates

For the upcoming sci-fi movie film based on comic book series Surrogates. Directed by Jonathan Mostow and starring Bruce Willis. According to the comic book series written by Robert Vendetti, in the year 2054, people are using surrogates (humanoid remotely operated vehicles) to interact with each other. But someone is determined to return people to their old lives instead of living through proxies. The Surrogates is being made into a film of the same name. The Surrogates film synopsis: “In the near future, humans live in isolation and only interact through robotic bodies that serve as surrogates. When several surrogates are murdered, a cop (Bruce Willis) investigates the crimes through his own surrogate. The investigation forces the cop to bring his human form out of isolation and unravel a conspiracy behind the crimes.” This is a world were in people use remote controlled bodies instead of working out their own flesh and blood bodies. So how do you save humanity when the only thing that’s real is you? I think this movie will somewhat have the feel of another sci-fi movie that I recall right now it’s not brand new, but I welcome another sci-fi movie, even more if it is starring Bruce Willis in the lead role!
